Cocktail Reception
Doors open at 5:30 pm
Arrive early and kick off the evening in style! Step into a welcoming cocktail reception where the night begins to unfold. Enjoy complimentary wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the entire evening. Spirits and cocktails are available for purchase at the cash bar. While you sip, don't miss local artist Madison Sinsel, who will be creating caricature portraits of guests — a fun, personalized keepsake to take home from a night you won't forget.

The McHugh Award
Established in 2010, this award recognizes individuals who have made an extraordinary commitment to educational equity — carrying on the legacy of its namesakes, Jerry and Anabel McHugh. This year, Colorado LiftED Foundation is proud and honored to present the award to Christine Benero, whose dedication to our youth has been nothing short of exemplary.
Christine Benero has spent her career in service to others. As President and CEO of Mile High United Way, she has led one of Denver's most impactful nonprofits, investing millions each year in the education and well-being of Colorado's youth and families. We are thrilled to celebrate her remarkable dedication to our community and the young people who inspire everything we do.
