Cash Donations
Cash donations are the simplest and easiest gifts you can make. Cash gifts can be made by credit/debit card online, or you can mail a personal check, cashier’s check, or money order made payable to:

Donate Stock or Other Securities
A gift of appreciated stock, bonds, or other securities may offer tax advantages when transferred to Colorado LiftED Foundation before selling. You may be able to claim an income tax deduction and avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation.

Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit
Colorado LiftED Foundation is a qualified child care facility in the State of Colorado. Donations of $250 or more may qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, equal to 50% of your gift.
What to know:
The credit you can use in a single year is limited to $100,000 or your Colorado income tax liability, whichever is less.
The gift must be a single donation paid in full (check, cash, credit card, or electronic transfer).
Stock, securities, and in-kind gifts do not qualify for this credit.
You can claim the credit whether or not you itemize.
Individuals and corporate donors may be eligible.
Any unused credit may be carried forward for up to five additional tax years.
