Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit

Colorado LiftED Foundation is a qualified child care facility in the State of Colorado. Donations of $250 or more may qualify for the Colorado Child Care Contribution Tax Credit, equal to 50% of your gift.

What to know:

  • The credit you can use in a single year is limited to $100,000 or your Colorado income tax liability, whichever is less.

  • The gift must be a single donation paid in full (check, cash, credit card, or electronic transfer).

  • Stock, securities, and in-kind gifts do not qualify for this credit.

  • You can claim the credit whether or not you itemize.

  • Individuals and corporate donors may be eligible.

  • Any unused credit may be carried forward for up to five additional tax years.

After your donation, we will provide the required tax credit documentation.
